JEWELRY CARE
- Clean regularly: Clean your jewelry often to prevent dirt and grime buildup. You can use a soft brush, warm water, and mild dish soap. Then dry and wipe your jewelry with a cotton cloth to keep it shiny.
- Keep it Dry: To keep your jewelry shiny, it's crucial to keep it dry as moisture is the primary cause of tarnish, especially on metals like silver. Always wipe your jewelry dry after getting it wet and avoid wearing it during activities that cause sweating.
- Avoid chemicals: Keep jewelry away from harsh chemicals, like chlorine, bleach, hairspray, perfume, and lotion. These can damage metals and gemstones.
- Take it off: Remove your jewelry before participating in strenuous activities that could damage it. We also recommend taking it off before going to bed.
- Store properly: Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place in a small Ziploc bag, jewelry box, or soft pouch.
- Protect from light and heat: Light and heat can damage the color and durability of colored gemstones. Excessive heat can also fracture some gems.
- Use anti-tarnish products: Protect your sterling silver jewelry from oxidation by using an anti-tarnish cloth to wipe it and then store in a small sealed plastic bag.
